Clades mobiles apps are coming …

At Clade, we’re using react-native and reactjs to build our front ends. At the moment we’re just building raw components and putting them on the page to get an idea about the look and feel. A little shout out to the VictoryChart JS component. What a great library this is, compatible with react-native and reactjs. This really makes building components in this space blazingly fast. And, they look stunning.

We’re also looking at the libraries out there and so far, we’re getting some nice results. We’ve put the screenshot into a iOS screenshot maker to give it some sparkle.

iOS App

At this stage we’re looking into a 3 or 4 tab navigator at the bottom. Home, Search, News and probably Account. Although Home might also serve as an account section.

Recommended Pie

The Recommended section, will be the main housing for access to the AI component. Each of the segments, will allow the user to deep dive into the figures so they can see where the data is coming from.

Therefore if this is a link to an article or some Sentiment Analysis on some financial data. The user will be able to see this and forge their own opinions.

News Articles

Articles, which Clade will be using as one of their data feeds for analysis, will also be available. In the above screenshot, these are all the articles filtered by Astra Zeneca. The customer can use this as a segway for more research.

Whats Next

Once we’ve started getting happier with our layouts, then we’ll start adding in the appropriate data-feeds.

We’ll concentrate on a few stocks/companies initially, until and then start increasing the availability. As you can imagine, once we start adding in companies listed on exchanges like the NASDAQ, the amount soon grows exponentially.

Therefore we will also start looking into how the apps User Interface (UI), will be able to scale.

We’re also going to look over other apps, who are currently working in a similar way. Hargreaves Lansdown has a really nice interface and AJ Bell is another similar example.

As Clade initially will not be offering the ability to purchase stocks, we can focus much more on the interface and less on the marketing, like selling the customer a UK Stocks and Shares ISA.
